Costa Rican coffee with a highly aromatic, sweet, and fruity-floral profile. In the cup , coffee blossom, raisin, raspberry, ripe cherry, and cocoa come together, creating a flavor that is elegant, juicy, and pleasantly layered.

The beans were processed using the Raisin Honey method. This method is based on the honey process, in which, after the husk is removed, a portion of the pulp and mucilage is left on the bean. The term “Raisin” refers to the emphasis on slower and carefully controlled drying, during which the higher concentration of sugars in the pulp is utilized. It is precisely the drying process that has a fundamental influence on the final character of the coffee and requires strict control of conditions to prevent unwanted fermentationor uneven drying. The result is a lot that clearly demonstrates the potential of the Catajo farm and the producers’ meticulous approach to each step of processing.
