The Ngandu factory lies in the famous Nyeri region of Kenya, known for its exceptional coffees. The Nyeri region has rich volcanic soil, as well as the ideal climate for producing wonderfully complex and fruit-forward profiles. The producing members of the Ngandu factory primarily produce SL-28 and SL-34, two varietals specially produced for deeper roots, that help with the scarce supply of water in the region. The resulting coffee is bright, fruit-forward and complex, the perfect example of why we love Kenyan coffees.
