Description

The Kamunyaka wet mill is located on the slopes of Mount Kenya in Nyeri County, Kenya. It is a part of the Iri-aini Farmers Cooperative Society, working with surrounding smallholder farmers who deliver their coffee cherries to the factory. Here they are depulped, fermented, washed, and then slowly dried on raised beds.

The factory is known for processing high-quality Kenyan Arabica coffees, often from the SL28 and SL34 varieties, which are valued for their complex flavor profiles.
