This batch of Bourbon Rose, grown at Finca La Riviera by UBA Cafe, reveals a lively, explosive and intensely aromatic cup. A bright, surprising cup, where juicy notes of ripe peach intertwine with the delicate freshness of dragon fruit. The attack on the palate reveals bright tangerine acidity, quickly enveloped by the fragrant sweetness of lychee. This coffee stands out for its great aromatic clarity. A perfect profile for lovers of fruity and expressive coffees. The process begins with the whole cherries being left to rest for 24 hours, followed by pulping and fermentation in a bioreactor with inoculation of selected microbial yeasts, carried out under controlled conditions for 20 hours. After fermentation, the coffee is washed to stabilize its profile, then sun-dried for 25 days, with rigorous monitoring to preserve all of the coffee’s purity and elegance. This coffee was transported to Europe aboard a cargo ship powered entirely by wind, reducing CO₂ emissions from maritime transport by up to 98%. A direct route, with no transshipment, for cleaner, better-preserved coffee.
